Metro: Take Line 2 to Giza Station, then catch a taxi or Uber (about 15-20 minutes). Direct metro access isn't available, but it's an affordable first leg of the journey.
Driving yourself can be challenging due to Cairo traffic. If you rent a car, GPS and patience help. Large parking areas are available near the main entrance, but arrive early during peak season.
Public buses from central Cairo reach Giza area—ask locals for current routes. Tour buses drop visitors right at the entrance and are the easiest option for first-timers.
Walking from central Cairo isn't practical due to distance and traffic. Once at the complex, you'll walk extensively around the pyramids, so save your energy for the site itself.
